Product Details
The idea for this Jardin de mousse (“moss garden”) pullover came from a friend who has cultivated just such a garden along the paths of his property in southeast New Brunswick en Acadie (Canada). The springy, textural quality of the sweater’s lace and rib patterns has a delightful “mossy” feel, reinforced by the rich tonal greens of the kettle-dyed Peruvian wool.
This relaxed-fit pullover comes to life with a nature-inspired lace pattern carried over its lower body and 7/8-length sleeves. The sweater is worked in a fine fingering 100% superwash merino wool, allowing it to be worn alone or over another layer.
The Jardin de mousse pullover is worked top-down and seamlessly on circular needles. The square neckband is worked in garter stitch. The yoke is separated at the underarms, and the lower body and sleeves are continued separately. The lower borders are finished in a decorative rib stitch. The pattern contains a schematic for sizing, written instructions, and a chart.
