The pattern contains over 20 pictures to help you along the way. I have also included a little tutorial on how to gather a cast on seam if this technique is not familiar to you.
There is a small amount of intarsia but nothing that should get you worked up into a frantic knitting frenzy! Again, if you prefer to knit his head and body in one plain colour then that works just fine too! I have included written instructions and also charted the body intarsia colour changes if you prefer to work from a chart.
