Product Details
This easy child’s gansey is knitted in Guernsey or sport weight yarn at a more relaxed gauge than is traditional. First published in Piecework magazine. The garment includes horizontal patterning and simple shoulder extensions, seam stitches, bisected underarm gussets, and ribbed cuff, neckband, bottom edge. It is knitted the round from the cast-on to the underarm, then knitted flat in the upper body to the shoulders. Once the shoulders are joined, the sleeves are picked up and knitted down to the cuffs. A seamless garment!
Featured Techniques: Multi-strand Cast-on, Rig ‘n’ Furrow Shoulder Extensions, Kitchener Stitch.
