Product Details
The Josephine Shawl is the first pattern in the Josephine Collection. It is named in honor of my mom, who was my teacher, craft partner, encourager and the person who taught me to always choose to create quality products even if that means ripping out 20 rows to fix a mistake! This also taught me perseverance.
This crochet shawl pattern creates a lightweight, lacy shawl that can also be worn as a scarf. Wear it on those slightly cool nights while taking a walk or use it to accessorize the dress you are wearing out to dinner. Wrap it around as a casual scarf with comfortable jeans. There are so many options, and each one will look fabulous!
You may also add or subtract rows to change the size. I made it with Cotton Kings Twirls from Hobbii in a blue colorway (Mom’s favorite color), but it would look beautiful in a solid as well.
In addition, you can use a 3 or 4 weight yarn to make it warmer for the colder weather.
