Product Details
The yoke neck sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down. Short rows are added to shape the neckline and back. The yoke is not stranded colourwork but instead uses woven cross stitch, where you only work with one colour at a time, to create the pattern. For the woven cross stitch section, there is a detailed Photo-tutorial to show you how to complete the stitch if you have not worked it before. You can use a single colour, variagated yarns look great, or it’s a great project to use up scraps of yarn as I did and create a gradient effect. If you wish to create a gradient effect like mine, the amount of yarn required to work each set of woven cross stitch is shown below. The sleeves are designed to be full length with a woven cross stitch cuff, but you can make your sleeves any length without the woven cross stitch detail.
