You are going to need a Thick yarn and a Thin yarn for this Scarf. I call this Scarf "Just Roll With It, Baby" because it does have a tendency to roll in at the edges, but I do not consider this a design flaw, since skinny scarves are less bulky around the neck and can be woven in cool ways around the neck without suffocating you. For the Thick yarn: Any ribbon, bulky, odd novelty yarn will work. You will only use this yarn every 7 rows and it will be carried up the side of the Thin yarn sections, until it is needed again. I have used Lion Brand Incredible, Bernat Colorama, Knit One Crochet Two Tartelette. I have to admit to liking the Colorama the best. It really pops and only uses one ball!
