Product Details
The combination of cables and lace stitches, as well as the shape of the sweater (inverted A), make this piece original and unusual. The lightness of the mohair and the lace contrast with the cosiness of the cables, making this jumper both daring and cosy, and a real eye-catcher for the proud woman who wears it.
Kahina is a sweater knitted from the bottom up, in the round to the armholes, then back and forth for the front and back tops. Once the shoulders are joined, stitches are pulled up for the sleeves, knitted in the round and from the armholes to the cuffs.
The front and back feature a cable and lace pattern that is easy to remember and adds rhythm to the knit. The sleeves are in stockinette stitch.
Sizes for this sweater are determined by hip circumference. Measure the hip circumference at the top of the hips, not at the widest point of the buttocks, but just above. This is where the sweater will sit. The sweater is designed to be worn with 10 cm of positive ease.
