Product Details
This Mandala Potholder has two layers: lace colorful top and a flat circle made of dc’s as a bottom. When not used in the kitchen it can be hung on a wall. And if you don’t crochet a bottom part for this pot holder it can serve as a decoration for a table or a nice appliqué for your old (or new) pillow cover.
This easy to follow pattern contains step by step full written instructions in English using standard crochet abbreviations and US terms (stitch guide is given in the pattern). It also contains lots of pictures explaining all the tricky and difficult places.
Crochet level: Intermediate (overlay crochet), though an “adventurous” beginner can handle it! This pattern is a good chance to learn overlay crochet!
Materials: Yarn in six colors: dark brown, purple, dark green, gold, light green and ruby, the crochet hook 2.75 mm (C) or the size that will give an acceptable gauge; scissors and tapestry needle to weave the ends in.
