Kalmia is a comfortable drop shoulder sweater with various sections playing with colour and texture.
Techniques used : Bottom up drop shoulder sweater / Body worked flat in reverse stockinette and in cable motif using Intarsia for one front half / Round neck shaping / Shoulders shaped with wrap & turn short rows and joined using a 3 needle bind-off / Body sides seamed using mattress stitch / Sleeves picked up and worked in the round and tapered with decreases / Slipped stitches / Cable motif using garter stitch and simple 4 sts cables / Simple stranded knitting in the round with 2 colours / 2/2 ribbed hem, collar and cuffs / Pattern includes charted instructions only
