Product Details
Kaye is worked in one piece from the cuff down to the wedge toe with a folded cuff and the shop-bought-like German short row heel. In order to keep the socks from slipping down, the inside part of the folded cuff is narrower than the outside. They are graded to fit three different foot circumferences with adjustable foot lengths. Enjoy!
Gauge: 36 sts and 48 rnds over Stocking stitch = 10 cm / 4”; 36 sts and 64 rnds over Sandwich pattern = 10 cm / 4”. Gauge swatch worked on size 2.5 mm / US 1.5 needles, in the round.
Techniques used: Provisional Cast-On with needle and hook, Magic loop circular knitting technique, knit, purl, slip stitch with yarn in back, increase (M1L), decreases (k2tog, ssk), German short rows (make and work double stitch), Kitchener stitch.
