Thank you for considering my pattern.
The Keola Market Bag pattern creates a lovely, flowy summer bag made of soft, 100% organic cotton yarn. The shell lace pattern creates a beautiful texture, that is also stretchy resulting in the perfect shopping or beach companion.
Using the suggested yarn for this project, the bag created will be soft but durable, reusable, washable, and eco-friendly. The PDF also includes a bonus pattern for the flower decoration, allowing for multiple colour combinations, adding a pop of colour to your market bag.
Difficulty: Advanced Beginner / Intermediate Terminology used: US Size: W x L = 38cm (15”) x 40cm (15 3/4”) without straps
Strap drop length: approximately 28 cm (11”)
Yarn: Stylecraft Naturals Organic Cotton DK 50g ball x 4 or 200g (approximately 475 yds) cotton DK (weight 3), plus approximately 30g for the flower.
Gauge: 17 HDC x 12 rows = 4” x 4” using a 4.5 mm hook.
