Kephart Prong Trail is a 4-mile round trip hike in the Smoky Mountains National Park. Along the trail, you will see the remains of an old CCC camp, remnants of an old fish hatchery, and several footbridges before ending up at an Appalachian Trail shelter. We love trails that run along waterways and usually find so much flora and fauna when we hike. This is one of our favorite hikes. The pattern up the socks reminds me of the water as we hike beside it.
