Will look fab in solid color, only knit and purl.
You will be need only 1 of 100g skein (100 gr = 144 m) of Chunky weight yarn (American Size – Bulky) and short (40cm) circular knitting needles: For child size - 3.5 mm (US 4) & 4.5 mm (US 7) For adult size - 4 mm (US 6) & 5 mm (US 8) or size needed to get 14 sts x 20 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.
You will need to know how to work in rounds on circular needles and k (knit) p (purl) k2tog (knit 2 stitches together) p2tog (purl 2 stitches together)
Size (approx. head circumference): Child Size 50-52 cm Adult Size 54-56 cm
Depth (approx. length of the hat): Child Size 21 cm Adult Size 24cm
