Product Details
Here is a teapot that is first knitted in the round on size US 8 double-pointed needles with worsted weight (shown here with Debbie Bliss Aran Tweed) for a smaller version or size US 10 1/2 needles with a chunky yarn like Reynolds Lopi (as shown here in blue)or KnitPicks Wool of the Andes bulky (burgundy teapot and teacups) for a larger, more life-size version.
After knitting, felt the teapot, lid, spout and handle in your washing machine. Teapot can be stuffed and sewn shut. Add my free knitted/felted teacup and saucer pattern and my free tea-time treats pattern (available at http://www.thepatternbox.com) and invite all your stuffed animals to a tea party!
Note: You can also find this pattern for sale at Knitpicks.com in the Idependent Designers' Area. (It costs a little less there, too! wink)
