Product Details
Konvalia Socks were created at the beginning of January, during that slightly longer winter days when all of the holiday fuzz is over and there’s more time for self care and indulgent knitting. It’s all about the process of slowly creating beautiful texture and making the flowers bloom on your socks - bell by bell, bobble by bobble. “Konvalia” is lily of the valley in Ukrainian, and along with being a stitch inspiration for this pattern it’s a lovely symbol of sweetness and return of happiness.
These socks were designed to be worn at home and enjoyed as a very special treat for your feet. Maybe they are not especially necessary/ practical/ useful, but who said everything has to be?
- The pattern has both written row-by-row instructions and charts; directions for stitch distribution for both the magic loop and the DPNs.
- Socks are knitted from the top down with a heel flap and a gusset.
- Both the heel flap and the toe have added slipped stitches to create reinforced fabric.
