I cast on for this hat while traveling up around Lake Superior.
My girls and I walked along the shoreline picking up smooth, oval stones and talking about early voyages and the shipwrecks that that sleep under the cold, dark waters of the lake.
The comfortable brim and interesting crown shaping in this hat set it apart from the random slouch making it (currently) the most reached for hat in my house (by every family member).
