Product Details
This pattern is written for those who prefer to do the toes on toe up socks on straight needles. The toe starts with a provisional cast on so may need a little more experience. I use the crochet provisional cast on, the tutorial can be found at Purlbee. You can of course use any cast on you like for circular needles.
Please try your sock on half way up the foot and after the heal to make sure it fits like you wish.
The toe of these socks is knitted on 2 straight needles using a short row method, which is fully explained. The foot is knitted in the round using 2 circular needles. The heel is made with short rows. The leg and cuff are knitted in the round using 2 circular needles. The cuff is finished with a stretchy cast off.
The pattern is 10 + 1 for those who wish to use a different circular method. The foot is knitted with a pattern on top and stocking stitch on the bottom. The leg is patterned around.
