The Lady’s Mantle has had major refresh! Clear instructions, detailed stitch and row counts, new dimensions - same amount of yarn! I hope you enjoy this new version! If you have wanted to knit a top down triangle shawl before then this is the pattern for you! It is for all skill levels. The shawl is knit from the top down in an basic seed stitch and finished seamlessly with two simple lace borders. The shawl is made with Pascauli Yarns’ cairo 8, but Alpaca yarns are a perfect substitute. The Lady’s Mantle Shawl is a project that you’ll treasure for years!
Supplies Needed: Yarn: Any DK Weight yarn that is Alpaca, camel, or even bamboo blend yarn. A total of 438yds/400m. I used 2 Hanks of Pascuali Yarn, Cairo 4, Color 10 Ochre, DK-8ply (438yds/400m total). Needles: #7 (4.50mm) needles on 24” cables. Misc: Darning Needle to weave in ends. Stitch markers. Blocking mats and pins - blocking is what makes this shawl fabulous! Gauge: 18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches/10cm in Stockinette Stitch
