Product Details
Late Harvest is a highly textured and cabled cowl, for the coldest prairie winter days.
The cables represent Wheat Heads and the Seed stitch sections are the harvested grain. Harvest is usually completed long before the cold winds blow, however, sometimes the weather changes before the crops are ripe, and you must dress warmly for a late harvest. Knit with a soft alpaca or cashmere yarn, the cowl is soft and gently drapes around your neck until you pull it up over your nose. If knit at the prescribed gauge with a sturdy wool the cowl can stand up on its own, and will keep itself up around your nose and chin, creating a pocket of warm air.
