Product Details
Latha is an asymmetric triangular shawl designed with a garter body and lace border that features a meandering vine-like pattern.
I promise loads of mindless knitting / knit-flixing with this one. But may I request that you stay with me until you establish the border first? By doing that you get a fair idea of the lace, then you easily enter into the rhythm of working some mindless garter stopping periodically to work the lace.
‘Latha’ is a Sanskrit word that means creeper or vine. Vines are intriguing plants. There is a beautiful rhythm to their growth making them an easy theme for art and craft projects. But to me, they also demonstrate adaptiveness, resourcefulness and resilience. They seem to be saying “Grow where you are planted.” I hope you enjoy the growth and rhythm, Latha brings to your needles.
