This design is all about gorgeous yarn, highlighted with simple garter st and topped with embellishment! Use your most precious color ways that you’ve always loved the look of, or your most treasured scraps for a one of a kind piece.
You can choose one of four yarn weights: DK, worsted, aran, or (super) bulky. A suggested worsted weight yarn is shown below. Alternatives include Madelinetosh Tosh DK, Malabrigo Merino Worsted and Noro Obi.
For the optional embroidery you will need an embroidery needle, tissue paper, basting thread or a scarp yarn in a contrasting color, embroidery floss and/or scraps of fingering weight yarn, pins.
