Product Details

This blanket in Tunisian crochet was made out of 1 kilo leftover yarn. The striped pattern is totally random (depending on how much yarn I had in each colour). It is quite decorative, nice and tosty.

There is no exact pattern, and no exact specification of what colours were used to make the blanket, but some general notes follow:

Cast on 150 sts and crochet TSS. Crochet until 25 cm (10 inches) remain of the first yarn, use the first yarn parallel together with the first 25 cm (10 inches) of the next yarn. This means that you will work with double yarn in a number of sts. Repeat.

Sometimes you will change yarn while picking up sts, sometimes you will change yarn when binding off sts. This will make the stripes in the blanket a bit varied.

Finish with a row of slip sts. Cut the yarn and fasten the loose end in the first and last rows. There are no more than two loose ends.
