A pattern for a pair of mittens that is easy to follow and quick to work with. I tried to design them with a Nordic style, but this time I wanted to use words to tell you how much I love snow: so “Let it Snow”! I hope you like them as much as I do!
MaterialsDrops Lima Unicolor (50 g/1.8 oz, 100 m/109 yds, 65% wool / 35% alpaca): 1 ball of DK yarn, 9016 Navy Blue (MC); 1 ball of DK yarn, 0100 Off White (CC). (yarn and quantities used for knit a Small) Needles:
Child 3.00 mm US 3 80 cm 32” circular needle or double pointed needle set, (Sport yarn)
Teen 3.25 mm US 3 80 cm 32” circular needle or double pointed needle set, (DK yarn)
Small 3.5 mm US 4 80 cm 32” circular needle or double pointed needle set, (DK yarn)
Medium 4 mm US 6 80 cm 32” circular needle or double pointed needle set, (Light Worsted or Worsted)
Large 4.5 mm US 8 80 cm 32” circular needle or double pointed needle set. (Worsted yarn)
Gauge11 sts and 12 rnds = 5 cm 2” in using 3.5 mm needle and DK yarn on the colorwork chart .
