Use cable techniques and textured stitches to create a blanket or cushion cover with a sweet heart motif.
The cushion cover version of this pattern is worked in the round with the flap closure worked flap.
The blanket version of this pattern is worked flat in squares which are sewn together. A crochet edging is then worked onto the blanket.
Cushion cover pattern makes a cover suitable for a 43cm square cushion. Blanket pattern makes a 135cm x 175cm blanket. Larger blankets can be made by making additional squares and sewing them together in the established pattern.
