Ligeia derives its name from the nymph Ligeia, one of the Nereids, daughters of the sea god Nereus.
Ligeia shawl is a triangular shawl. It is worked from one end to the other, beginning at one end and increasing on one side.
On the right side, a lace pattern (charted only) unfolds gradually and continues throughout the height. The rest is worked in garter stitch.
You will get a big triangle 142 cm / 56 inches long and 98 cm / 38.5 inches wide.
You will need two skeins or about 720 meters / 790 yards of fingering yarn.
