Product Details

“Lilly” is a wonderful warm winter set and - depending on the colors you choose - a beautiful color statement on cold days. For the cowl, you work with a provisional cast on, then you work in rows and sew both ends together by kitchener stitch. The hat is easily worked in rounds. The chess pattern is worked with slip stitches, so you won’t have to change the color within a row (you work always with one color only).

Materials:

Schoppel „Reggae” (100% merino wool, yardage 109 yds/50 g); each 150 g in black melange (#9093m) and amber (#0500) or any other Aran weight yarn

Schoppel „Reggae ombré” (100% merino wool, yardage 109 yds/50 g); 50 g in Indian-Summer (#1873) or any other Aran weight yarn

2 US 8 (5 mm) circular needles (or any size to obtain gauge)

US 8 (5 mm) double pointed needles (or any size to obtain gauge)

1 crochet hook, 5 mm

some waste yarn in a contrasting color

Gauge: 17 sts and 24 rows in chess pattern = 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) after washing and blocking
