Available in sizes from NewBorn to 10 years, it offers a comfortable fit with extra room. The pattern includes sizes: 0-1m, 3m, 6m, 12m, 18m, 2yr, (4yr, 6yr, 8yr, 10yr) with a chest circumference of 44, 47, 50 53, 56, 59 (62, 64, 76, 82) cm / 17.4, 18.5, 19.7, 20.8, 21.9, 23 (24.7, 25.3, 29.8, 32.34) inches and is designed with a recommended 4-7 cm (1.5 -3 inch) positive ease, allowing for a looser fit in larger sizes.
Knitted from the bottom up. The sweater is constructed by working the body up to the arms and then separate for front and back up to the shoulders to shape them. Stitches are then picked up for the sleeves that are worked in the round using german short rows. The ruffles are knitted at the end by picking up stitches at the shoulder seam.
With a longer body and sleeves that can be unfolded and slightly oversized, "Lily Sweater" is made to keep up with quick-growing kids, ensuring it stays a favorite in their wardrobe for longer.
