This is a pattern for an ornately cabled shawl. The cables speak for themselves. This shawl was designed for true cable lovers.
The shawl is a warm shawl, created by using an unusual gauge.
The stitches are Charted ONLY.
Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling)
There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.(This is the only crochet in the pattern) This shawl was knit with Malabrigo Rios yarn and requires approximately 1350 yards to make the shawl.
It was knit using 2 circ needles (but straight will work). Any light worsted weight yarn will work for this pattern, and no crochet hooks needed if you don't want to edge the shawl
