Product Details

Lois is a pretty top-down crescent shaped shawl with a stylish lace hem. The St St component makes this the perfect on-the-go project to have in your bag at all times and the pretty lace edge and picot bind off gives the shawl its Wow factor.

This pattern is written in three sizes; Shawlette (medium shawl, large shawl) but also includes full clear instructions of how to make this shawl in any size you wish simply by working more/less rows of St St.

The sizes given in the pattern are for a shawl with Wingspan: 52” (58”, 64”) Depth 15” (18”, 21”) The Medium size is pictured.

Yarn requirements (approximate): 355 (485, 575) metres.

The pattern is fully charted (no row-by-row written instructions)

The pictured shawl was made with a lace weight yarn using 3.25mm needles giving a St St gauge of 26 Sts to 4” after blocking. However, gauge is not at all important for this project. This shawl would work well with any weight yarn, the most important thing to pay attention to is that the St St section is not too loose or too dense.
