Product Details
Two cute little Bitsy babies with hearts on their rompers.
These best friends would make a lovely Valentines’ day gift
Or knitted separately they could welcome a New Baby into the family
Bitsy Babies are cute little pocket sized dolls.
They are made from bits and pieces of left over yarn- That is why they are called- Bitsy Babies!
They are so quick and easy to make.
An ideal project for new knitters and fun little project for more experienced crafters.
You can create your own Bitsy Baby in just an evening. –
The body and head are knitted in one piece and after seaming and stuffing the legs are created by sewing a seam through from front to back to divide the legs.
The arms use very simple shaping and are sewn on when making up this cute little character.
Alternative yarns
Any double knit-these dolls are great for stash busting
Check the recommended needle size for your yarn and use a needle 1 size smaller.
This will give a close textured stocking stitch which will hold its shape well when stuffed
