The shawl calls for Malabrigo Silky Merino because of how much it grows and stretches and the dazzling, glossy finished look, but the shawls made from other fibers, dyers and brands look just as gorgeous!
Note: if you choose to use another yarn, you may need more yardage and/or have a slightly smaller size shawl.
