Product Details
This textured-rib scarf with ribbed borders and slip-stitch edges is a classic - simple yet interesting, and easy enough for a brand new knitter.
The stitch patterns use just knit and purl stitches. And the scarf is knit flat in one piece from one end to the other.
Sizing can be easily modified by working more or fewer rows or stitches.
Yarn: Substitute any light worsted weight yarn - 415 yd. Other weights of yarn may be substituted as well and worked at the gauge that best suits them.
Gauge: 20 sts = 4" / 10 cm in pattern stitch on larger needles.
Techniques used: Knit, purl, slip 1, cast on, bind off.
