What you'll need
Product Details
This versatile top-down cardigan will be a staple in your wardrobe. Make it plain for everyday wear, work in stripes for a great stash buster or add Granny squares to make a modern crochet statement piece. With a deep V neck and simple granny stitches, you’ll be making more than one, whichever style you choose.
The Lowrider cardigan uses DK yarn with a tension (gauge) of 5 groups to 10cm/4in. It is available in both UK and US crochet terms. It has step by step photos, charts, diagrams and a schematic. It is intermediate level and will require some concentration for the yoke section. There are also videos in the video tutorials section.
It is worked from the top down, in a raglan style. The body is worked back and forth and the sleeves are worked in the round. The body and sleeve length can be easily modified by adding or removing rows as you go.
There is 10cm (4’’) of positive ease. The flared sleeves of the Lowrider jumper can also be used with this pattern.
