MATERIALS: Yarn: any lace weight yarn, (50g / 280 m), 2 skeins needed for big mandala, approx. 450 - 475 m Ring: 60 cm in diameter Scissors, and tapestry needle to weave in ends. You can use any similar yarn and suitable hook.
SIZE My Mandala made of cotton Schachenmayr Tahiti is approx. ⌀ 47 cm before blocking, ⌀ 54 cm blocked and ⌀ 60 cm stretched in the hoop/ring The size of the finished Mandala depends on the yarn and hook you use and your personal gauge.
While crocheting the pattern till round 29, the mandala will be 40 cm in diameter. You can achieve this with one skein of Schachenayr Tahiti, approx 250m lace yarn.
