Product Details
The Unicorn is the national animal for Scotland. I'm Scottish, it gets cold there, so a unicorn scarf seemed to be a logical pattern to create. She is called Luna because that's what my niece has called her (she holds naming rights on everything I create!).
This is worked in double knitting to create 2 layers for warmth. It is important to follow the pattern as written as you will be contructing as you go along. I knitted it in acrylic so that it would be easy to wash (white gets dirty quickly)
The colour of the fringe, mane and tail can be anything you want - doesnt have to be sparkly/glitter yarn - a good way to use up those odds and ends of yarn. If you want a finer finish, use 4ply.
Pattern updated 28/8/19 to correct an error in the Ear instructions.
