Product Details
Inspired by the glow from the moon, Lunar Ripples is a semi-oval shawl crocheted from the centre out. It uses simple stitches and some interesting shaping techniques.
Knowledge of basic crochet stitches and terminology is assumed. You’ll work in front loops only, skip stitches and work into chain spaces. Although this pattern uses (US) single crochet and chains throughout, the stitch placement is important so I would class it as an intermediate pattern.
You will need a 4.5mm crochet hook and approximately 420g / 1800m / 1980yds 4ply yarn. The item pictured uses John Arbon Knit by Numbers, 4ply, 100% Organically farmed Merino Wool, 100g skein = 400m / 440yds:
Yarn A: 1 ball x Knit By Numbers Shade 127 (light blue-grey) - approx 70g/280m/310yds used.
Yarn B: 4 balls x Knit By Numbers 123 (dark blue) - approx 350g/1400m/1540yds used
The pattern is written in English using US crochet terms.
