***Each week, my friend and I get together and have a bite to eat and a couple of hours to knit and chat. These few hours are one of the luxuries that we cherish. ***
The Lunch With a Friend cowl is a design that came out of one of our discussions. We looked at the wrong side of some wide welted ribbing, and loved the thin stockinette stitch line that was created. Taking this as inspiration, this cowl uses that stitch as a base and adds a lace stitch to each side. It is knit in one piece with a provisional cast-on, then the ends are grafted together for a seamless cowl.
