Product Details
Lizards are a versatile group of animals, ranging from itsy-bitsy chameleons and teeny-weeny geckos to the colossal Komodo dragon and with some cool traits:the collared lizard can run on its’ two back legs. It is quite the stand-up chameleon! Green anoles change their colors: they put on their green pyjamas before going to sleep and don their brown suits when they wake up! And they can throw off their tails if captured by predators, to make an expeditious escape!
There are two lizards included: the green anole and the common collared lizard. Each is a small project, done in scraps of yarn to be finished in an evening or two. They are a medium knit, made on 2.00 mm dpn (US 0, UK 14), but can be made on thicker needles and will then turn out somewhat larger. There is knitting flat, in the round, intarsia color work, i-cords, short rows and embroidering. All is explained comprehensively in the text and illustrated by schematics.
