The diamond and ring motifs of the Luxe Wedding Blanket were inspired by a bride in the family who planned her winter wedding on the anniversary of her parents’ wedding day. This blanket made a lovely gift for the happy couple!
This lush update on the traditional wedding ring quilt requires 9 cakes of Lion Brand Vel-Luxe yarn or 2,214 yards (2,025 m) of worsted or aran weight yarn and a 5 mm hook.
Finished dimensions are about 46 by 69 inches (117 by 175 cm). Pictured here in a full/double size bed.
Pattern requires chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, bobble stitches, and reverse single crochet stitch (crab stitch). US terms with US and metric measurements.
