*Lydian is the fourth musical mode. In written examples it’s shown starting on F, the fourth note in the C Major scale. The fourth interval is the only tone that differs between the Ionian and Lydian modes.
The intervals in a Lydian scale are: whole step, whole step, whole step, half step, whole step, whole step, half step.*
Lydian is a delicately feminine slouch hat. It’s the perfect hat to pull out for a trip to the mall, school, a night out, or any time your hair might need a little help.
The lace and twisted ribbing cause the bottom edge of the hat to gently roll. As knitting progresses the 1x1 ribbing changes to twiste ribbing for a more open and less elastic look and feel.
