This is my Madmonkeyknitter Trapper Hat knitting pattern. Yes its got a wonderful picture of ME on it. This madmonkeytastic hat is knitted entirely in one piece and the earflaps and brim are lined to provide extra warmth. The stunning portrait of me gives you a chance to brush up on your intarsia work and the pattern provides a full colour chart for this part. The knitting pattern provides full instructions for 4 sizes Xs (baby) , S (child), M (woman) & L (man) so can be made for anyone mad enough to want to wear one.
The sample was knit in Debbe Bliss Cashmerino DK (now discontinued). Substitute yarns are shown below.
