Shetland Lace pattern newly interpreted - Shetland Lace Muster neu interpretiert
Classical Shetland Lace pattern combined with eye-catching color and high quality kidmohair make this scarf a favorite.
Charted RS and WS rows.
The scarf is worked in 2 pieces seamed together with kitchener stitches. As a result, the tree of life pattern is in the same direction at both ends and the edges are equal on both ends.
The border of this shawl is a classical zigzag edging with alternating lace holes. Pattern with yarn over and increases or decreases is worked in every RS row and WS row. After picking up the stitches from the side of the edge there is a band of Bird’s eye pattern and a Tree of Life pattern with yarn over, decreases and increases in every row. The whole middle is plain of elaborated Print O’ the wave pattern. For this pattern the WS rows are purled.
