Product Details
Set of FOUR filet crochet maps of the British Isles.
BOTH written instructions and charts are given in the pattern, but the main panel is only given in the form of a filet chart. UK terms used throughout.
Materials required for each map: Small map panel – 0.75 mm crochet hook, No 80 crochet cotton or No 70 tatting thread - 2 x 5g ball (195 yards/180 metres. Large mat or doily – 1.50 mm crochet hook, No 10 crochet cotton – approx 325 yards/300 metres.
Approximate finished sizes: Small map panel – with top header 6½-inches/16.5 cm by 8¼-inches/21 cm, without top header 6½-inches/16.5 cm by 6¾-inches/17 cm. Large mat – with top header 13-inches/32.5 cm by 17-inches/42.5 cm, without top header 13-inches/32.5 cm by 14½-inches/36.25 cm.
Gauge – Small map panel – 18 tr = 1-inch/2.5 cm and 9 rows = 1-inch/2.5 cm. Large mat - 10 tr = 1 inch/2.5 cm and 4 rows = 1-inch/2.5 cm.
