Product Details

*The name Marakoopa comes from one of my favourite places in Tasmania – Mole Creek. Each time I have been there, twice with my Mum as a kid and then in my late 20s with my husband, we camped by a picturesque babbling creek, searched for platypus and visited the caves. One of the caves is named Marakoopa which means ‘handsome’ in the Aboriginal language from that area.

This sweater is knit using a scrumptious yarn from Tasmania, White Gum Wool, and uses short-rows to shape both the back neck and bottom hem. Knit top-down starting with the neck band, with slight waist shaping and using two contrasting colours, this sweater has vertically no finishing and will easily become a wardrobe staple
