Product Details
“Maritimes" is part of my “Back to the Sea" collection of seamless all seasonal garments.
The top is entirely seamless and is knit from the top down. The back is worked first, then stitches are picked up at the shoulders to work the fronts, individually. Then the whole work is joined under the arms for knitting in the round. Sleeves (optional) are picked up and worked top-down.
Hood (optional) is worked from the neckband up then finished with kitchener stitch.
Techniques required: short rows, provisional cast on; links are provided to all the relevant tutorials and techniques, so if you are not familiar with any of them, here is your chance to try, and succeed.
