I love mandalas, one mandala can look so different depending on your colour choices.
This mandala was 'born' whilst I was on a knitaway holiday in Buxton and is named after Mary Queen of Scots who visited Buxton no less than 11 times whilst in her 19 years of captivity. I thought it rather fitting to name something colourful after such a colourful queen.
The pattern is written in English crochet terms only. It uses 10 different colours, but can be made in any colour combination you like. Only small quantities of yarn are required in each colour.
