Product Details
The first new design of 2016 is out and its perfect for the wintry weather. With their squishy texture and seamless construction they are perfect to keep your toes toasty.
Maya, the Mapuche word meaning river, fits these socks perfectly. Stitches flow twisting and turning like a river’s current. The stitch pattern creates a cozy texture that's not lost if knit a multi-colored or speckled yarn. These socks feature a more rounded toe box, afterthought heel, and a patterned cuff. The toe-up pattern can also easily be adapted to be knit cuff-down if that's your preference.
•This pattern is available as an easy to print PDF.
•Links to tutorials for the cast on, bind off and grafting method used are included in the pattern.
•Skills used:Knitting in the round, increasing (lifted increases and kfb), decreasing (k2tog and ssk), picking up stitches, and grafting.
