Hometown Shawls pattern #2 - in tribute to the communities that have shaped my family.
You’ll enjoy the zen of knitting this deceptively simple boomerang. You can easily adapt it to any amount of yarn over 440 yards, just keep knitting until you run out.
The shawl is worked starting at one point and working sideways. The fabric features streams of eyelets through the body and double eyelet rows on the two shorter edges.
McComb is named after the town in Mississippi that my maternal grandparents were raised near. I visited my grandmother’s family, the Jacksons, there when I was a child and teenager.
