Mella the Fox knitting pattern is designed for intermediate level knitters. Most of the pieces of the toy are knitted in the round. A 7-page long tutorial with photos gives detailed instructions on how to knit the fox and how to assemble.
Materials you will need to knit the fox:
DK yarn in white, red, blue, light blue and a little black (weight and length given in the pattern) 7 double pointed knitting needles– size 3 mm (US size – 2.5, UK size – 11) Mattress needle Polyester or cotton for filling Required skills: Casting on and off, Knit, purl, increase (m1r, ) – knitting in the round and flat, knit two or three stitches together, knit front and back, basic skills of sewing and embroidery.
The toy is around 37 cm (14.5 inches) long from tip of the head to the feet.
