Product Details
"Menat Scarf" is a Seaman style scarf featuring a unique lace pattern inspired by the ever shifting sands of the Menat Dune Field on the planet Venus.
A provisional cast-on is used so the ends are worked out from the neck ribbing. The lace pattern is easily memorized, and with WS rows being 'rest' rows - this scarf would make a great first lace project.
I love this style of scarf because the ribbing not only holds the scarf in place, there is also no bulk around the back neck. The ends can be worn straight down, secured with a scarf ring or tied.
